The first instalment of this new series that we are sure you have seen around already.
Besides giving you a fast overview of the cars we have selected, our Machine Check has 2 major intents:

- The first, without any doubts, is to set the bar. This is what we are looking for. Take notes!

- The second is to be an ode, a way to say thank you to those “few” who look further into our automotive niche and go the extra mile to keep that particular culture alive.


If you fit this description, let us tell you: Drift Series exists because of what you’re doing and we want our creation to be your home. Never settle, keep it up!


With that being said and last but not least, we want to thank @spaghettyyyyy for his supreme work and for believing in our project. A great guy with views and mindset that align with ours.

Luca’s RPS13

The recipe to our heart is simple: function meets form, with an extra pinch of style.
One is sacrificeable, the other is not.

Our friend Luca’s build sums up what we mean, PLUS the guy is a maniac behind the wheel and even if drift comps are not our piece of cake, we know he has a trophy or two collecting dust in his room.

Dorifto’s supra a70

Well, this car has a special place in our heart.
Beside the fact that it’s an insanely beautiful machine with plenty of top of the line, discontinued and rare parts, we mostly love it because of its owner.

Many of you know this, but for the ones who don’t, Federico (
@dorifto27) is the creator, the brain, the pumping heart of our beloved Drift Series Italy. None of this could have happened if it wasn’t for his vision and his unbreakable determination. Always ready to help and welcome you with a smile, Fede is THE man.

So take care of yourself Fede and never change (maybe just change those mats. C’mon dude…).

rinaldo ’s R31

It’s not often you see an 80s sedan ripping sideways on track, and it’s even less often that it’s as cool as this one!

Freshly imported from Japan, Rinaldo’s 1987 Passage Hardtop R31 comes with a RB20DET from a R32 and all sorts of mods to make it an amazing drift car, all the while rocking the late 80s/early 90s style to the max with sick sets of small and wide old school Japanese wheels!

You have to respect the commitment it takes to use such a unique car as a drift car, especially when it also sometimes doubles as the man’s daily driver!

Spotti’s 200SX S13

Building an S-chassis ain’t easy.

Yeah, there’s plenty of parts, kits, wheels and everything else in between, but hitting the spot on looks and performance is nowhere as easy as it seems, and Spotti’s 200SX is a master class on how to do it right.

Simple, clean, showing off classic grassroots styling, fitment that would embarrass many stance guys and packing the right amount of performance, this S13 ticks all the boxes for our Machine Checks.

Spotti’s been building this car for over five years now, constantly evolving while always staying focused on the cool, fresh street styled cars from Japan and the UK that inspired him since the beginning.

Luca’s MX-5 and MOER Modena

On today’s Machine Check, we decided to shed some light not just on one of our drivers, but also on the shop that allowed his vision to take form.

@wolfbotts MX-5 has been an ever evolving project, always taking inspiration from the most stylish MX-5 drifters all over the world and standing out with high quality parts, solid style choices and a final result that catches everyone’s eye. Luca has been supporting Drift Series since day one, and it’s always a pleasure to have him at our events.

Thanks to our friend @5tomtomtomtomtom , we’re now bringing our Machine Checks to your living room on Assetto Corsa! With every release, we’ll also release an AC mod of the car, pumping some genuine DSI style into your favorite sim drifting sesh!

Nothing of Luca’s vision would have been possible without the mechanical brains behind the build, @moer_modena .
